Am I right in saying Wrexham & Shropshire (WSMR) are diverting via the WCML tomorrow? Their website suggests a diversion but I can't find any details on any forums.

Cheers

Well it's a bit difficult to say, as per last weekend, there's been some kind of Network Rail planning farce. But they are indeed diverting via the WCML, 1504 and 1705 from Marylebone, and 1120 and 1520 from Wrexham.

Chiltern line shut between Beaconsfield and High Wycombe.

Yes, they are diverted, After Coventry the WCML to Sudbury Jct, then Willesden relief, Acton Canary Wharf (end change) then up to Neasden Junction (end Change) into Marylebone, same for the return journeys

Why the change this week? I thought that they went via Greenford and South Ruislip last week, cheaper than paying to have Neasden Midland box open, though no doubt the signalmen there are happy :D

I'd hazard a guess that there's Engineering Work meaning they can't use the Greenford Branch this weekend.

It's NR who decide the path, if it was possible to go via Ruislip this would have happened. Going via Neasden is a lot quicker so I should imagine WSMR would prefer this route. The signallers at Neasden will no doubt be very happy
