Hello everyone : )

I originally started using this forum to prepare myself better for when I applied for a Conductor role for ATW a few years ago. I managed to get the role because of the information on this website. What I found was a lovely community which helps others out in their pursuit to being on the railway with workers, enthusiasts, passengers and everything in between having somewhere to chat.

I like being here to help others and in turn I have been helped.

After 5 years of trying I have now signed my contract with TPE for a Trainee Train Driver role and am very fortunate they will honour it and pay until all the problems with Coronavirus is over.

I'm looking forward to getting back onto the railway after some ups and downs.

My son will be born next week as well so I am feeling pretty positive despite the current events!!

Thank you to everyone who spends the time to help out each other on the forum :cake:

Thanks for your kind words everyone!

@dan4291 I'm sure you will hear at some point. HR is very busy at the moment with everything going on.

@GeniusB Thanks I am sure there will be some major adjustments going on! At least I get the first few weeks with my family now. I will need it to get used to the sleepless nights as you say!
