It looked better without the yellow, I think it would look better if they continued the yellow to the top of the windscreen, but its still an improvement on the noddy land look of the WM units.
I prefer the look of the front on the WM units to be honest.

Don't know, it's odd. BtW spot the dinosaur on the dashboard. Someone on Twitter pointed it out.

I don't think either one would really care, better to like it to make the company look more human and what is the point in dis likening it anyway? It isn't harming anyone.

I'd bet they would care, as I can imagine both Vivarail and TfW being the kind of organisations that would get in a tizzy about people making the connection between their 40 year old 'new' product and dinosaurs, rather than keeping on message of them being 'transformational examples of life changing engineering platforms for the benefit of mankind', or something...

Yes, Long Maston to Stourbridge Town, Worcester, ST and back to LM. Just left Stourbridge on the diagrams.

Looking at the schedule they are shuttling between Honeyborne and Stourbridge multiple times, almost up to midnight. They are putting some serious milage on that unit, could a delivery be imminent?

Vivarail have a new social media person by the looks of it who is tweeting from the test train. I asked how they were doing and she said there are at 80% capacity with work on the TFW and Island units processing. Interesting to see when 007 emerges.

Also confirming that it was TFW who requested the change from red to yellow on the units

Looking at this video on Youtube, it would appear that the end of each car has been made more conventional by removing the end carriage windows, and a normal conventional type corridor has been fitted.

It looks to me as if they have spray painted over the windows to give the appearance of a solid panel, and then stenciled the T logo over it.

That'll be contra vision on the small window. Often used in the bus industry for advertising and sometimes liveries, it still allows a certain degree of vision through it.

@fgwrich was referring to the between car windows which have been removed.

Yes understand now, end windows by the carriage connectors. Generally looking very smart and peering through the windows the seats appear to have mostly high backs, and I think I caught a glimpse of a bike rack. There is a not very good you tube clip of the 230 going through Kidder. station at speed. Hope to see more like this with 230`s at 60 mph
