May I ask where you read about scrapping of Bath’s bendis?
Taken from first bus enthusiast page "I heard this evening if anyone’s interested! 10037 10174 2 singles a few deckers all for scrap will be leaving Bath the end of next week"
Hope that helps
i have been told by several differnt sources they are likely to be off they don't meet bath emmitions they are currently parked up in westbury which is 100% due to close
Probaly the reason but no reason why they can't come to cornwall, I know there only a few years newer but so are the newer geminis

Good morning, have the following vehicles arrived at Kernow yet?
20325 and 20361
37151 37153 and 37161 to 37165
I don't suppose the 3 ex East Yorkshire open toppers have either?
Many thanks in advance

20325 was still parked at First Cymru's Swansea Ravenhill depot last week, having previously spent a couple months at the local Volvo Truck & Bus workshops.

Oh dear, that's not good. Thankfully it looks like there won't be many if at all any injuries from it? Luckily I don't think that was on the list to come down to Kernow (37045 was). Wonder if it still may be useful to Kernow though as most of the roof looks intact (I.e not an open topper).

Certainly looks a tight fit. Hope any passengers and driver were ok, of course. And yeah, just needs a new upper windscreen.

Thankfully bridge strikes in Cornwall are pretty rare, the last Kernow one being in September 2016 I believe?
Bodmin wasn’t it?
And before that the oly in Falmouth in 2011?

Kernow of course have one from this batch open top already From a bridge incident in similar area, 37058?

Believe it was Bodmin, a Trident which was going to work a Truro College service, just joined Truro College at the time and we all thought what a great start to the college year it was, wasn't there a picture of it somewhere still in storage a while ago when it was for sale?

Remember the Falmouth 2011 one better, was talk of the town as everyone wondered how a driver could think of getting a double decker under a well known low bridge, also closed the branch line for a few hours so certainly was a costly mistake

Think the reason for the Falmouth incident was the driver forgot she was driving a double decker and thought it was a single, can't remember the Bodmin incident reason, got a feeling it was due to the bus being on a diversion due to roadworks or something?

Luckily the incidents in Cornwall were not in service, can't remember a bridge strike in Cornwall being in service

According to Bustimes 33311 has returned from SPS and is currently on the T1. I suspect ticket machine not reprogrammed and it's actually a Gemini??
