Class 317's on the West Coast Main Line

How long did 317's last for on the main line I know they first appeared following introduction of 319's in 1987 but when did they last operate because the 321's came between 1988 & 1990 so could anyone clarify thanks.

As a kid I remember seeing them all being stored at Nottingham before the Bedpan was fully electrified. Here we are 40 years later and they still running on my local line into London!

From 1989, they originally displaced 310s off the WCML to the LTS and were then replaced themselves by the 321s from July 1989.

They were loads west of Nottingham station too near Radfird Junction

I guess that was when the area down there was still all sidings - former good yard transfer area etc - where the courts / inland revenue etc now are
