A few years ago I travelled on a Steam excursion from Cwmbran to Carlisle and not far from Carlisle on the outward
journey the loco failed causing a fair amount of damage to the middle motion/cylinder.I cant remember when it was

It was within last 10yrs or so and I think it was an LMS but not black 5 loco.

That would have been 3rd April 2004 with 6201.
