Wasn't it a National Trust advert on the back of the closed top ones, promoting attractions on the AC routes, certainly helped break up the livery tho
Marc did tweet a while back that the open tops would be receiving NT adverts but it never happened. Even just an Atlantic Coasters logo on the rear would break it up.

Certainly would bit too much blue at the back really, colourful front but a bit dull back unfortunately, hopefully it will happen eventually

The full open topper was on the A2 this afternoon - first time this year I've seen it on there, but then I claim no intimate knowledge of workings.

Two closed top Trident's (33111 & 32762) are on the west Cornwall Atlantic Coaster circuit today. Unsure if it is weather related however 3 partial open top B7TL's have turned out on the A5. The B9TL 37729 is not out again today, bus had some issues erarlier in the week I believe.

The A5 only uses 2 buses a day. Unless ones been swapped but we’ve only got 2 open toppers allocated to Summercourt at present as the 3rd is having mechanical repairs. We’ve got 32102 and 32103. 32104 broke down around 10 days ago.

I think I probably included said 32104.

There was certainly an opentopper on the A2 this afternoon: I was in a queue of cars behind it in Marazion Pz bound, and it in turn was behind a U4 which was picking up all the passengers. In view of the lousy Penzance to Marazion bus frequency, I find it strange that there can't be better distancing in the timetable. In particular, with no shelter at the main Marazion stop in the Pz direction, this should be prioritised westbound imo. When the buses (and my car) reached Jelbert's Way there was also a d/d on the A17 ahead, not that I'm suggesting that can be prevented too. I used to be a bus scheduler, after all. :)

I see South Yorkshire Transport Forum reporting 37153 is currently under preparation for transfer to Kernow.

It would appear that the dark green Solo 53503 has broken down at St Erth, I have seen it outside the railway station about 45 minutes ago with an engineering van in attendance.

As an aside, there's certainly no chance of 65726 Scania (LK55ACJ) joining rejoining it's ex Discover / Berkshire brothers in Kernow now, as it was towed away to Ensigns last month.

65726 had blown its engine and First Bath had robbed it for spares.

Glad they painted over the fleetname to disguise its identity

Thought that was the case, thanks. I guess it had proven not economical enough to repair.

Indeed, I had noticed it that too. I wonder who the discover routes could be operated by...

I often wondered what had happened to Kernow’s B10BLE 62238 (Y947CSF). This one was allegedly converted to a trainer but at the time there was some doubt it was ever used as such, unless anyone knows better. It definitely had an instructor’s seat fitted.
It sat for many months in Long Rock depot in the withdrawn vehicle compound along with the Caetanos and various stored coaches. Anyway now the PSV Circle is reporting it was acquired by Seaford & District, Seaford in July 2019 as a source of spares.

Volvo B7TL/ Wrightbus Eclipse 37058 was on the A4 yesterday and is pictured near Hayle. Interesting to note that the service pictured is a through one to Camborne hence the piece of paper in the windscreen. Every time I have seen these services either in Camborne or elsewhere the electronic display has shown Gwithian rather than Camborne so it seems that "A4 Camborne" is not available on the list of destinations.IMG_0526rev.jpg

I have to say, the Atlantic Coasters livery really does suit these Gemini's quite nicely and 37058 does look very good in it - even with it's donor roofline!

Yes agree, and we have got the E400's with the brightly painted back ends to look forward to.

Something to be noted, most of the MMCs have come back from Somerset with hubcaps! I have to say they look much better with them on!

An unidentified Atlantic Coaster Volvo B7TL seen a short time ago being towed into Camborne by a Cornwall Commercials recovery wagon.

I saw them on the Long Rock By-Pass at 13.45ish: couldn't get the number either.

32104 suffered a breakdown on A5 a fortnight ago. Was towed back then. Not been out since
