The service to be operated by the Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway on various dates between now and October is shown as 'Steam and Diesel': https://www.chinnorrailway.co.uk/article.php/193/timetables. I phoned them to check what exactly this meant; apparently all trains are top-and-tailed with a steam locomotive on the Chinnor end and a diesel on the Princes Risborough end (at least I think it's that way round).
Booked to do this on Monday and didn't realise! I'll report back unless someone beats me to it.

Just been to Chinnor and they are running top and tail with GWR pannier tank 6412 on the Chinnor end and class 08 diesel D3018 on the Princes Risborough end.

The Great Central Railway is running a DMU service over the next two weekends (5/6 and 12/13 September) operating a Rothley - Leicester North - Nunckley Hill (Mountsorrel Branch) - Rothley circuit:

The two class 101 units are operating with the option of commencing a journey at either Rothley or Nunckley Hill. This is while bridge replacement work takes place on the main line near Quorn.

How do they implement social distancing on a DMU?

Numbers are limited to 30 passengers per journey, spread across a 2 car set. Plus other measures as per 30907's post - face coverings to be worn throughout (including on platforms), trains being cleaned between journeys and so on...

Interesting at the Kent & East Sussex we were looking at a way of running our class 108 primarily to maintain staff competency.

I'm surprised they're not mostly using diesel because unless the driver shovels his own coal it's impossible to distance in a steam locomotive cab, whereas a diesel requires only one member of staff in the cab.
There's generally plenty of ventilation on a footplate. A lot of loco footplates are to all intents and purposes outdoors.
Or if the driver is paranoid he can hang his head out the side of the cab whilst shovelling is occurring.

Must say it has surprised me that they’ve managed to do this.

My place (not preservation) still has two people in a cab as a no-no, apart from in emergency, though what emergency constitutes hasn’t quite been defined. So far I’ve had looking for a fire on the track and having to propel defective train from the rear cab as two situations which I’d deem as emergency. Our trains aren’t ventilated like a steam loco though!
