No, does that mean I’ve not been shortlisted? I fear it does. I applied in July for Cardiff and Carmarthen. It’s the waiting and not knowing that’s doing my head in.
I'm in same boat. Many are, as I already work for TfW. It is what it is.

I think a positive is that it's probably got through the first automated phase of recruitment as people who heard they have failed did so pretty quickly internally.

Just be patient. It's not normal circumstances. They are progressing where they know they have the resources available, instructors and such; plus the demand for where the drivers are needed to go first. Some were always going to go through before others. It's being drip fed on purpose. Try to chill a bit bud.

What depo did you apply for mate? By the looks of things they are leaving Carmarthen till the end I think?

Have you emailed her? Think there doing Carmarthen last? It shouldn't back fire on you? It's been 3 months now since having the NI email, my mind was going into melt down not hearing anything haha!
I applied for Cardiff but after having a look on here someone said they have nearly finished with Cardiff so not looking to good

I sent another email yesterday morning still no reply I think I’ll give it to the end of next week then ring the number on the original emails she sent me, seems strange that others get a reply the same day so :/

Think they still had some from march recruitment for chester so expect we wont hear just yet. Lots have heard they have failed for these depots though so no news is better news for sure.

I'm in same boat. Best to just forget you applied and get on with life. Then one day you'll have a nice surprise hopefully. Its going to be a long one.

A friend of mine applied and was rejected within days, so I think it’s safe to assume that we are awaiting human eyes to look over our applications, Just thought it would of been done by now so was interested to know if anyone else has heard as I’ve seen the ‘fallen through the cracks’ stories on these forums, Hopefully we get the email asking for N.I number at some point, But I’m the same as you, just forget about it and get on with life is the way to be, becoming obsessive with it isn’t going to speed things up it’ll just drive you mad.

Just a pointer but with the likely number of applicants if even 10% of them email for updates then that’s a hell of a lot of emails in the in box and people to get back to, stopping the team from cracking on with the job of recruitment. I know it’s hard but as has been said, sit tight and maybe leave the emails to once a fortnight. Good luck!

Congrats to all.
I’m in the pool, had a phonecall last week to offer a start date in January, but not for the depot I want.
Congrats on the offer. What was the date in Jan? Did you get the depot you wanted?
I’m going for Cardiff but could be Cardiff/Taffs Well. Nervous about the medical for no reason other than it being make or break I guess
Congrats on getting through. Have you had the medical? If so how was it?

Yes had the medical but not completed yet!

ECG machine was broken and wasn’t working on the original appointment & my second appointment had the same issue. All other parts of the medical are passed though so when the ECG machine is fixed I’ll have an appointment & should be through hopefully. Just got to have patience!

Hope it's fixed soon for you and goes ok. Well done getting through. Do you what date you might start?

Congratulations John, out of interest, when did you initially apply for the job, and when did you go into the talent pool? I applied March and talent pool mid September. Cheers

Cheers John, hopefully not too far behind you then. passed my DMI on the 3rd September and was told at the time that i had passed, didn't get email confirmation until the 14th though, so not sure if it goes on the date of passing or when you go into the talent pool.

good luck and thanks

Just stay as patient as you can & try take your mind off it! Even at this stage I’ve passed all but the ECG & I’m overthinking that as well.

I’ve seen a lot have done the DMI after the assessments, not sure if it makes a difference but my DMI was completed prior to any assessments. I’m sure it won’t be too much longer now for you!
