It was the stock for 5M52 so only affected anything later plus M06/M07 come off the Down sidings so they were OK.
5M09 had to canceled as the stock still needed attention.
5M10 got round as it was clear but 5M11 came off the south end so is now in reverse.

I’ve just seen the photos. I was expecting a bogie off rail, looks like one bogie on one route and other passed over points onto adjacent road. Fair amount of damage.

It looks like a gantry came down too, as theres a long metal thing with what looks like a catenary wedged underneath.

Me and my dad drove past the voyagers on the M74, doesn't look good!

I have a feeling this might be an insurance job in all honesty, thank god we're in covid times and new trains are on order anyway.

Um.......how has happened? It seems like someone tried to drift a Voyager by having one carriage’s bogey on a different track to the other bogey.

It seems like Voyagers have a bit of a habit of getting involved in bizarre depot incidents, at least this one isn’t quite as bonkers as the incident at Ilford depot last year when someone tried to stop one with his bare hands when the breaks broke.

If that is as bad as it appears in that photo I certainly think that set will be permanently reduced to a 4 car ! But let's wait for the facts and hope it is repairable.

Regarding derailment in polmadie, looks as if they are stabling two sets in central for the time being, this evenings 5S80 has stayed to work 1M21 in the morning, and 9S97 has stayed to work 5M50 to Edinburgh, onwards to 9M50 in the morning.
