There's some information on braking distances in an RSSB publication (link below) I'd like to see, but you have to register to view.

I was in the process when it asked for 'job', and then it asked for railway related industry you work for. Is there a way for Joe Public (me!) to see it?

TIA...

Not sure but I am a train driver and can't even access the Rulebook via their site!

I've registered myself on the RSSB website with "n/a" as a company name, and that got accepted by the site.

I registered a long time back as a contractor to someone peripherally related to the rail industry ( which is about as tenuous a connection as it gets ) & my basic account is still active. I don't think you can get to everywhere with a basic account unless the site ethos has changed ( I haven't had any cause to go there for a long time now ), but there's enough to keep you going for weeks.

IIRC SPARK is also fairly open at a basic level too.

The Group Standards used to be freely available but now require a basic login. Staff of "RSSB Member Companies" can access a lot more.

The 'GN' documents are 'Guidance Notes' They are used along side the actual document they refer to. GKRT0675 iss 4 has been superseded and was withdrawn in 2018. Not sure if you can see all that without logging in. Hope it helps.

I can't remember now. Possibly not. Will try again.

There is a rulebooks section of the standards area that I can read with basic membership, but you'll need to use a company address ( assuming your company is registered for it ) or ask the company to register your private address for the rulebook app, it looks like.

Thanks both. If I can't access it with my company email address I'll ask them to register my private one.

A lot of the time these sites which want you to say what company you work for to download a report just want to know what your job is so they can tailor advertising and job ads to you.
