Cool thing is the locos are two-part articulated VLs, so often longer than the train they are hauling, no doubt a thread of its own!

This Slovakian ZSSK 163 would have its normal load of four carriages, if it weren't for a ZSSK 460 unit trailing on the rear. Though curiously, the unit did seem to be powering as well, with radio control between the two cabs instructing the driver what to do:

Returning to Georgia, here is a two-part loco in Tbilisi, hauling unit ES-003. This unit is fire damaged, had its length reduced to four carriages, and as such has to be hauled everywhere. I hope that counts, here it is hauled by VL10-137:

Yeah, those are more a pseudo-EMU, semi permanent formations with a single-ended power carSwitzerland has these 1+3 formations, but they can work in multiple (much like Railjet), here's a pair of sets in Zuerich:

A Vectron on 3 coaches is ridiculously over-powered, though I did once have a pair of GySEV 470s ("Taurus") on 4 coaches on one of those workings.
