Hi
As part of a university project I am hunting around for Lothian Buses timetables for routes to Ocean Terminal area (specifically 7, 10, 11, 16, 21, 22, 34, 35, 36 and 200) pre-covid but wasn't having much luck online. If anyone knows/has copies of these timetables I would be very grateful if you could direct me to these.

Additionally if anyone knows what types of buses were used on these route as it would be great to know the capacity of each route.

Thanks

I made a post about this in the Lothian Buses thread yesterday. Posts 2201 onwards may be of interest. I've quoted this below.
As far as I'm aware the vehicles were:
7XLB or 2011 B9
10E400 or 2011 B9
11XLB
16XLB
21B7 or 2007/2008 B9
222016 B5Edited to correct vehicle, thanks to

342015 B5H
35B7/Gemini 1 B9Edited to correct vehicle, thanks to

362004-2007 B7RLE
2002015 B5/2017 B5H

Does anyone know (or know where I could find) the daytime weekday, Saturday and Sunday service frequencies of routes 2, 29, 100, 200 and 400 from before the pandemic? I've checked the Lothian website and the bustimes website using the Wayback Machine but it doesn't have any of the relevant pages archived.
I found this news page but it doesn't have the timetables for the above routes.
(I've put the ones I've already got below for information, numbers meaning "a bus from every ... minutes").

Out of interest, can I ask what your project involves? :)

This is amazing, thanks very much for responding. The project is to design a hypothetical concert arena adjacent to Ocean Terminal (I know the land is being built on now but thats the site the lecturers decided on) and I'm doing the Transport plan so was needing to know how busy each bus route would be and if any frequencies needed increasing.

The 22 was actually 2016 B5's, I believe the 35 used Gemini 1's? (I cannot confirm this)

In March 2020 pre-lockdown;

Service 36 -
Allocated 160-170 though in practice it was any B7RLE with the last turns out the garage often being double deck.

8 buses, but an extra bus went on there around 4pm starting at the Gyle Centre and would usually be whatever was spare. Frequency every 20 minutes.

(this is off the top of my head, i'd only started with Lothian in January so please correct me if i'm wrong but i'm pretty sure i'm correct).

Ah nice. What subject is that for? I have an interest in transport planning and such but it's a computer science degree I'm doing so there's not really any opportunity to do any of that sort of thing.

Ah yes apologies, I knew it was the ones with the mid-back seats, I must have mistyped.

There’s a list of changes from July 2019 with links to pdf timetables that are still online. https://www.lothianbuses.com/news/2019/07/lothian-service-change-14-july-2019/

And this from July 2018 https://www.lothianbuses.com/news/2018/07/service-change-29-july/

And finally, the changes from March 2020 that were overtaken by COVID and didn’t operate.

It might be worth browsing What do they know and the requests made to Lothian , there’s a few for route allocations.
