Are there any of these left on the former Southern Region? The only ones I personally remember were at Worthing and Barnham on the Bognor Regis branch which were removed years ago. I've just seen an old track diagram of Bognor Regis and there used to be one below the Down Home. Is this still in existence?

Are there any other survivors?

Bognor has Semaphore Platfrom Starters and Shunt Discs, everything else, now, is LED Colour Light, inlcuding the Home Signal.

I don't think either of these is a calling-on signal. Doeasn't a starting sgnal say that the line is clear to the next signal? I thought a calling-on signal says "pass at caution, being prepared to stop on meeting another train."

A shunt signal also means that one can proceed as far as the next signal but be prepared to stop short of anything that may be ahead.
The OP's post specifically mentioned the Home signal, where the calling-on arm would have been used when a train or locomotive was required to enter a partially-occupied platform.

Littlehampton? Or is the Home also a c/l now?
The home at Littlehampton has been a c/l for years. In reply to the OP, I don't think there are any calling-on semaphores left on the former SR. I believe the last one was at Bognor and that went a few years ago.

I know... I was talking about the only Semaphores at Bognor, then I went on to say where a Calling on would have been, the Home Signal ( from Barnahm), is now LED...
