As stated in the title. Are they being revamped/repriced? Or are they removed to discourage leisure travel? The linked pages disappeared some time last week I think.

EDIT: to make clear that the page exists, just that all the links are dead ends.

Are you referring to this page?
https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/times_fares/rangers_and_rovers.aspx

It doesn't appear to have gone missing.

EDIT: Sorry I see you are referring to the individual pages - my guess is that they are still advertised on the relevant page of the relevant train companies involved.

Still there for me. Maybe you've been banned from buying them :D :D :D

I guess there's some sort of server issue going on but not with every server in the cluster.

I also get the error screen when I click on a link from the index. Given that there are quite a lot of rovers/rangers but only one index, if it was an attempt to hide/withdraw all the tickets, surely it would be easiest to remove the index rather than each individual page?

All of the detail pages are still showing on Knowledgebase, with URLs that are similar to those linked from the public version of the site.

As such, it could be a permissions issue in their Content Management System, though I can't remember what (if any) difference there is between the staff and public versions of the pages in question.

On the basis of a sample of one (All Line Rover (14 Days)), the links appear to be back up and running.

None of the rangers in my area, Greater Anglia, work. National ones do.They are still on the GA site so have not been withdrawn.

I'd probably suggest it's not a very good sample size :) . ALR 14 and 7 days appears to work, several more than i've clicked do not.

When I want to see a rover/ranger ticket I tend to go via, train times and tickets, then special offers, then click on the ToC that you want to use the ticket on. of you could try this link.
GB RAIL ROVER GUIDE - rail rover and ranger tickets

I'm looking at that for a North West 7-day ticket and getting:

purchasing
Online:

Station ticket office:

Station TVM:

Train conductor:

Buy on the day:

Buy in advance:

Order by telephone:

So it appears we can no longer buy them online. Will have to try at a Northern ticket office (presumably any other TOC station wouldn't be able to help?).

Oh really, well that explains that then. I recently (a few weeks ago) bought a Freedom of Devon and Cornwall one online which arrived the following day, so I thought that was standard.
GWR sell (most of?) the rangers that are valid on their services online, as well as the All Line Rover. Most other rangers and rovers can't be bought online.

Ah.

Maybe suggestive that someone has complained about the ALR pages but that whoever has done the patching hasn't quite understood the extent of the problem? Or alternatively they patched the ALR pages and they do understand the size of the problem so are now looking for agreement to spend however much time is needed on fixing the other pages maybe?

If you look at the page for the rover you will see a part that says ticket issuing system if you show this to any ticket offices they should be able to issue you the ticket.
All of the rail company's ticket offices should be able to sell you the ticket.
GB RAIL ROVER GUIDE - North West Rover

I've asked for some odd rovers/rangers from my local station and they have always come up trumps when you help them with the information. I've also bought them on the train, but I do tend to have the bit of paper with the short code on it.

Thank you, that's really useful to know.

Let's try this again. Now tried half a dozen or so including the Valley Lines Night Rider. They appear to be back.
