Do we know what are the best lineside spots for the seven valley railway diesel bash in may?
A photographer I spoke to at a gala a couple of years ago said Hampton Loade is good, but I can't speak from experience.

If anyone is travelling on the SVR trains, please respect the historic coaching stock. They cost alot of money and thousands of hours of volunteer labour to restore and although I know the majority of diesel fans are well behaved and act responsibly, there's always a few who do not. Enjoy your day - SVR Carriage & Wagon Department.

A shame that this even needs to be mentioned...I hope all your hard work and effort is treated with the respect it deserves.

Did you have to stick to the same train all day? ie: just stick to Class 50's or could you also get some haulage behind the diesel hydraulics.
