Hi all, I would be very grateful if anyone knows what routes the 221 and 225s do that are maintained at Polmadie depot in Glasgow. Trying to work out which depot the trains that go up to Oban use...

Many thanks,

Ivan

West Highland services are formed of Class 156 units maintained at Corkerhill.

There's no 225s (assuming you mean Class 91/Mark 4) serviced at Polmadie. 221s serviced there are for Cross-Country and Avanti(?).

225 sets (91+mark 4) last visited Glasgow in January 2020. When they did go to Glasgow regularly they worked an evening London Kings Cross - Glasgow Central service, stabling at Polmadie overnight and returning to Kings Cross the following morning. This is now operated by Class 801 “Azumas”.

There's no 225s (assuming you mean Class 91/Mark 4) serviced at Polmadie. 221s serviced there are for Cross-Country and Avanti(?).
Other way round, Avanti 221s are serviced at Polmadie but not Cross Country - they send their voyagers to Craigentinny.

Avanti 221s only have one diagram from Glasgow. LNER overnights at Polmadie. Not sure how that's crewed, taxi from Edinburgh in morning?

I see LNER staff in Glasgow often, must live through here.
