Hi,

Does anyone know if Dovetail are going to release an updated route for the ECML between Kings Cross and Peterborough to take on board the recent remodelling at Kings Cross and the Stevenage Turnback ?

I haven't heard anything about DTG releasing an updated route - but then again, I've been out of the TS-loop for a while now. I'd expect that, if an update was to be released, it would be through a third party developer. www.alanthomsonsim.com is probably where it will be hosted, but this is just a guess.

Cheers Peter...and no doubt any 3rd party update will be expensive, and then restricts the the publication of scenarios on steam...

You're welcome :)
Depends on who makes it, and where they release it really; if it's a small developer (i.e. someone doing it by themselves, or a small group), then it's likely to be free. However, if there's a large team working on a project, or - if it is released on AlanThomsonSim - if it's released via either a payware or subscriptionware system, then it'll cost some amount. I wouldn't be surprised if an updated route is already being worked on, or has already been released: like I say, I've not really been following TS news recently.
