Are you interested in any Peter?

Today my Class 25 sold and Class 86 will sell, as will my Mk. 2d next week

I will probably list some of the coaches, tank wagons & HST next week along with the 08 once serviced & tested.

The 47 and HST power cars look quite interesting - especially the latter as I've not seen many of those come up on eBay. The 60 looks good too. Main issue is price!

I'll watch the bidding on those then. Even if I don't bid, it's still interesting to see how much models go for.

I have so far listed 3 job lot coaches making 4 in all, as all my other train listings have sold :)

I have tested all of my new locos, all 9 and they all run well. The 08 hasn't ever been run before so will need running in!! The 37 needs a lot of work.

I added the stay alive to my Lima HST but the body broke on one corner of one PC, Grrrrrrr. Its now at the back out of sight now and I was very careful too, must be its age.

Fitted a new RAILS nano chip to my new Class 33.111 (Hattons). It has a mini stay alive fitted. Unfortunately, the loco was missing its couplings, so I used a spare. It runs very well and is the required push-pull version for the 4TC. Southern rules ok!

I have at least 20 items to list, including 12 tankers, 2 RR Containers, 2 more coaches, the class 08, 47 and HST. I might also list my Class 31 as its not in my modelling area and cannot haul heavy trains (like the real thing).

Poor class 31s! Actually mines been getting a good run out today on the freight. I might stick a couple of clips on YouTube later.

Any chance of photo of the 33 with the TC set?

That 33 looks really nice. I wonder how much the 08 will go for when you sell it - the RailRoad ones aren't known for their realism!

We should form a 'Class 31 Club'. Actually, having said that, it would be mainly @Cowley's club, if @reddragon's engine doesn't work too well - mine has been sat on the shelf for ages waiting for me to work out what to do with it!

Today I fitted 60008 with a RAILS DCC chip. Wheels need some more cleaning but otherwise it seems to be a good loco and it has twin pick ups on the trailer bogie.

Here seen on shed

As requested, 33111 coupled up to the 4-TC. It accidently moved the 4TC and class 411 attached without a problem!

The Lima Class 47.824 sadly failed its inspection for DCC conversion. The body is glued on at the buffers so I cannot DCC fit it. It will go to eBay next week instead.

All looking good. That depot looks really cool, even with just a few engines in. That shot of the 33 and the units is lovely.

That's a lot of stock - and a lot of space to store it all in! I mentioned at the weekend that you're essentially building my dream layout, and this is more evidence for that theory!

I have offered my HST sets to GWR to cover services, but they say that like the TP802s are not fitted with ATP.

May also be an issue with track gauge and operating a 1/76th of required speed

Today, 70006 came out of works after a complex operation to remove the body & fit DCC. Here seen on mileage accumulation runs, to run in the motor before pulling its first test train.

1620742812574.png

7 other locos are in the works, pending decision and the HST which has already been offered a new home. 3 Mainline SK are also in the works pending a future decision.

2x RBR and another restaurant car are away for renumbering to WR at the moment, one quite special. A reveal in 2-3 weeks! Buffet services are hence limited to 3 rakes only.

Meanwhile a Mk2d BSO and a TEA tanker wagon are getting sales bids.

A rake of TEA wagons are due to go out for tender for sale shortly along with some other wagons / coaches.

I like those TTAs. Wouldn’t they fit in with what you’re doing?

That 70 looks nice. Those TEA wagons look interesting too - could always use them for supplying products for the station cafe... ;)

It is mightily tempting to keep them as the weathering is very good

They look really good. I was trying to remember if any of the Fawley trains were made up of those hauled by 33s?

Lemmington Grizzy Station now has a platform suitable for a 4 car local up train to stop in. Also track laying has been done on the up loop track. The GWR HST was today doing clearance testing at P1/2 and GWR 7007 ran fast through one clearance was approved.

60050 is now also fitted with a stay alive and was hauling the tanker train - OK I relented, they are good wagons and can stay for now . .

1620999398703.png

Meanwhile - track laying continues in the carriage & wagon sidings

Very impressive. Glad you kept those wagons too.
I like that platform, where did you get that from? Is it Skaledale?

I’m also glad the tank wagons are staying , I like the weathering on them and they are very ‘class 60.’ :)

My unwanted job lot locos, coaches & wagons are all live by 20.15

OK, those very nicely weathered tankers will not be among them . . . .

That all looks really cool - one of the things I would really like to have on a future model railway of my own would be a four-track station such as yours with Lemmington Grizzy.
Those wagons are very nice too: in very much the same vein as what @Iskra has said, I can't imagine a 60 with out something like those wagons behind it. Having the carriage sidings also sounds interesting; I'm struggling to think of many layouts I've seen which have dedicated carriage/wagon siding areas and then a dedicated TMD. A lot of layouts seem to have both in one, which is also cool - but having somewhere to store a few long rakes of coaches really appeals to me for some reason.

Following the Civils work to infill the base gaps left when the wall was removed, the PW gangs arrived at the up approach of Red Dragon station today to commence remodelling and power upgrade works. As you see the suburban lines have been severed but hey look, is that a new crossing going in to increase platform flexibility?

1621364186651.png

Meanwhile following a call from GWR due to a shortage of Class 800s which have yet to arrive on my railway, HST sets were being prepared for action! Only Hornby 43010 which is a total failure could not be provided!

What sort of stuff will use the suburban lines then? Is that for your EMUs? Are you going to have a go at fitting 3rd rail?
I love that lineup.

It was a DMU line, but as most of my DMUs have gone, it will become the short MU line for the Class 101,156,416,466 2-car units for now. Lots of TSRs due to decrepit old track, but once the suburban station is remodelled & rebuilt services can fully resume.
