Noting the thread re the Cromarty Railway I was looking at the other railway on the Black Isle, from Muir of Ord to Fortrose.

Having recently driven up 'Station Brae' in the village of Munlochy and noted 'Station Road' leading off that, I was amused to note there is also a 'Station Close', and a 'Station Court' in Munlochy.
Having four roads 'named' for the same station must surely be unusual, and particularly in a small village.

Are there any contenders to equal or even beat that.

Someone may be able to share the history in Munlochy but it appears as if the access to the station was along Station Road whilst access to Station Road is up or down Station Brae (depending on the direction of approach). Station Close and Station Court look like more recent developments, on or close to the station site. .

Tyndrum is much smaller than Munlochy but has both an Upper Station Road and a Lower Station Road. (The Upper one is not marked on any map I can find, but is part of the official address of the station).

One for each station, which seems fair enough!

I suspect the Munlochy situation isn't unique, though it would be interesting to know of other stations that had two similarly named access roads.
