The track looks quite rusty. I presume it's near some buffers. (Let's not say which ones to protect the mouses location !)

Ultimate Fail.

Train company: We are removing the station cat & her kittens from station X due to health and safety.

3 weeks pass.

Newspaper: ***Train Staff messroom infested with mice, dangerous and unsanitary staff kitchen***

Rocket science? ;)

McR Oxford Road had quite a few cats, sadly due to the odd run in with points/trains/illness there are only 1 or 2 left so mice & rats have reappeared

You wanna see mice ?
Head for Birmingham New Street, they are everywhere

Erm, it's also infested with rats. Try being there after about 2300 and they run around your feet in the waiting rooms. Yuck.

I'd never sit in a waiting room at 2300! I'd sooner just stay on the Platform.

Nowhere near enough to a Pacer :(
ANorthernGuard makes a common sense point - plenty of station cats equals no mice, no cats, or a reduced number and the mice return. Now i'm sure NR would agree a tin or 2 of smart price cat food to help sustain the station pest controll team is better value for money than the councils environment squad?

I have seen several mice on the circle line platforms at South Kensington.

Cats don't clear mice, Kim & Aggie will teach you that, baiting or setting large scale traps is much more effective.

PS: while passengers insist on flushing on that pacer sat in platform 6, leaving human waste on the ballast, and carelessly discarding food waste into the ballast and onto the platforms, vermin will be here to stay. Don't get me started on the stupid idea of buisness waste disposal being plastic bags left overnight on the pavment!

Cats don't CLEAR mice but they certainly reduce the population considerably, 100's of years proves it lol
