Hi all,

My train to work this morning passed something that looked like an old BR blue loco, but I wasn't in a position to see any more clearly. It was heading south between Langley Green and Rowley Regis at or just after 8:30am.

Is anyone able to tell me what it was?

Cheers :)

Sounds like the Chiltern loco hauled stock - the DVT of which is blue (though not quite BR blue). It passed Rowley Regis yesterday at 0834 heading south to Marylebone....sound about right? Headcode 1H25.

Sounded like 2Q88 Tyseley to Derby RTC test train with 37610 and 37604. Other than training runs the Chiltern Mark 3 stock do not operate services from Kidderminster or Stourbridge. 1H25 would have been a 168.

If you are talking about what I think you are!!!!

I was a class 31, 31 106 with 3 yellow coaches. This was stabled at Tyseley on Friday 1st July.
