May have been mentioned before but railcards can be bought for £14 worth of Tesco Clubcard vouchers.

...which is a terrible thing to spend those vouchers on as £15 will get you £45 (possibly £60 soon) of Red Spotted Hanky travel vouchers.

That would be even more fantastic. Do you have any idea when this offer might come alive?

It looks to me at the moment that RSH will stay at 3x value with just a few rewards that are cheaper for Tesco to buy going to 4x. Shame, but Tesco have to make a profit!
I'd like to be proved wrong though.

It is highly unlikely that RSH vouchers will increase from 3x to 4x. The only ones to increase are "Days Out" and "Restaurant" vouchers, because Tesco can negotiate a lower price with the suppliers (as "2for1" vouchers are often available in these sectors).

25% off TransPennine Express advance tickets booked by Sunday 16 October through this link: www.tpexpress.co.uk/sale.

It's probably worth mentioning here how to get more Advance tickets out of the TP website.
e.g. for Liverpool to Newcastle you must search for trains at 6am (as that is the only direct service). Then click on the 'Click here to check if slower routes with cheaper tickets are available', choose an Advance fare price, then navigate through the day using the 'later' option.

It won't always work for all advance fares, because if there is a long period in the day without any then it will fail.

MoneySavingExpert released 10,000 £5 e-vouchers for new members at RedSpottedHanky today at noon. This first batch have now gone, but a second batch of 10,000 are being released tomorrow (Thu 13/10) at noon:

http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/cheap-coach-train-ticket-deals#redspotted

The e-voucher is in the form of 500 loyalty points and is valid for a year. No minimum spend.

I successfully signed up today, but no points have been credited yet, although it does say it will be 'within 4 days.' Good luck.

FCC are offering 5 complimentary return tickets on their network to anyone who registers for email publicity by the end of October. Whether that includes existing subscribers I have no idea.

https://www.firstcapitalconnect.co.uk/competition/receive-free-tickets/

Is there some kind of prize draw as well?

Thank you for entering. We will be in touch if your entry has been successful.

Thank you for registering for your complimentary tickets - you will receive these via post at the address given week commencing 7 November 2011.

Saw that earlier I'm not convinced it is that good an offer and in fact looks like it may be more expensive if you can't get a railcard discount on the offer, also London to Edinburgh the offer is only about £10 cheaper without a railcard.

I agree - I tried my Railcard and there was no discount, still £25, and the fare was only applicable from Leeds rather than Ilkley where I travel from. As a result, if you were booking early, the difference was marginal,.
Definitely not as good as the previous offer, I managed to go from Ilkley to Glasgow via East Coast this week for £17.85 1st class each way (with Railcard), with meals and drinks thrown in.
