I have one. Expensive but very good.
The syncing of music isn't as fluid as an iPhone and could do with improvement (tho' there are apps that deal with that issue), but if your current one is Android based, I suspect it will be the same in this regard.
Other than that, it's fast and the screen out shiny-shiny the latest iPhones.... Which is probably why Apple keeps trying to get it banned.
Battery life is much better that the HTC offering from what I have seen to boot.

That is good to hear as one of those was going to be my second choice.
I've had one for a few months now, although I came from a Nokia E71 so the comments below sort of reflect that.
Basically it's fast with a superb screen and good on-board storage, and is amazingly slim and light for what's packed in. The camera is pretty good as well and together with one of the HDR packages can get some impressive shots. It's certainly well put together and although I use mine out and about to track long gross-country walks using GPS etc (using sports-tracker) it's certainly not showing any signs of wear and tear. Not had any instances of the phone crashing or locking up either which the E71 had a habit of doing on rare occasions.
The following comments really are nit-picks and I suspect most users won't have any issues, but for completeness sake here goes....
Compared to the E71 battery life is absolute pants, although probably par for the course for a modern smart phone. Mine gets charged every night and by about late evening it's starting to get close to 10-20% charge left. This is without GPS left on although I tend to use WiFi when at home. Bear in mind I often travel through periods of very poor phone reception which means it's continually hunting for a signal. Putting it into flight mode if you know you're going through an area of poor reception certainly helps. Using GPS and WiFi together, or playing movies or sound can cause the battery to discharge at an alarming rate. Samsung (and others) make a larger battery and phone back package which I'm going to invest in soon.
WiFi and phone sensitivity isn't brilliant. There's a number of rooms around the house (a small 2 bed bungalow) where the WiFi struggles to remain connected to the router, whereas everything else mobile or otherwise carries on OK. Phone signal wise the phone often seems to lock onto a weak signal and seems reluctant to move to a stronger cell (this is on 3). Putting the phone into and out of flight mode usually causes it to come up on the stronger cell.
The screen is extremely sensitive to touch and more than a few times I've wished for a way to turn it down. Sometimes I've noticed it registering before my finger actually touched the screen!
The bezel between the screen and the side of the phone is very thin and together with the screen sensitivity can make it easy to trigger things when picking up and handling the phone.
Some real numpty in Samsung decided to put the power/sleep button on the right hand edge, right opposite the volume button on the left hand edge. Not the cleverest place Samsung!

I've had this phone for a month now, best phone I've ever had, and yes, I agree with the above, every single time I go to send the phone to sleep, I end up turning up the volume (I always have it on silent, due to my job)

Orange wanted £41 a month on my Dolphin 25 tariff AND £149.99 to upgrade to it.
I said I'd think about it, went round the corner to Phones4u, they kept me on the same tariff, got the phone for £40, gave me a £30 discount because I chose them to upgrade with, then gave me £20 for trading in my horrible htc tattoo (which I wanted to take delight in seeing how many bits I could get it to smash into and how far it would go when I threw it down the street)
So I left the shop with the phone I wanted and with an extra £10 in my pocket.
I like Orange, and will always stay with them, but I'll never upgrade in their shop again.
My first bill came out at £28 btw, so not that expensive, I only get 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 500Mb data on my tariff
