So, I have been in Egypt for 10 days - i have completely cut myself off from the outside world. No net, no phone, certainly no blackberry and no communication! What have i missed?

PS - it is nice to be away but good to be home!

I don't think you've missed too much but big news in the last couple of days is that Arriva (DB) have bought GC. Also there is a FGW HST set running around the ECML (not sure for how much longer, though thinking about it I think it might have finished now).
