One small point I must point out bearing in mind I am grateful for the timings is that despite Hertford North being spelled exactly as I've typed it, it's pronounced Hartford North - the E is silent and replaced by a A.

Don't ask me why!

Are there any pics or you-tube videos of these top&tail 91 workings anywhere? I take it one 91 is facing towards London, rather than having a blunt-end at that end of the train (that'd be a bit silly wouldn't it?).

Aren't the 91s limited to 125mph now, or is it just down to the driver not to speed? I suppose the limiter could be taken off if they have one, anyone know if they'll be easy to de-limit if ETRMS comes along in time to allow them to break the 125mph barrier?

As far as I know there isn't limiter on the 91s. Drivers are professional and don't speed these days anyway.

91s arent able to go above 125mph. Not sure how easy it is to de limit them though. The limiters were put on back when they had their major refurb.
Also, its not just ERTMS that is preventing 140mph running.

They've done 140mph before, as far as I know only the flashing green signal aspect being deemed inadequate (so cab signaling is required) stopped them carrying on with 140mph running.
