Can anyone please advise if this particular service is usually heavily loaded on a Friday evening and whether it's a Pendo or Voyager?

Am booked on it this week and went for this train as it was about £25 cheaper than the 18:30 & 19:00 equivalents.

Many thanks.

Phone them up and you might be able to get your reservation changed to Coach F (or D, if that's unavailable)

Why on earth would FC be declassified ?

ThO/FO 18.57 Euston-Manchester Pendo is the same. Virgin do not provide full 1st class offerings/service on this train so it is advertised as standard class only & passengers are free to sit anywhere a seat is empty.

That is pretty crazy, prime time services leaving London on an evening peak.. makes a mockery of the First Class travel arrangements

First Class is still available on the normally timed train that this one runs as a relief for - that's the whole point of reliefs surely...

And yet it wasn't so long ago when the Manchester Pullman would leave about this same time from London with a rake of first class only coaches! Funny how times change...

But then again a train a train with full first class service in around 4 coaches leaves Euston for Manchester every 20 minutes nowadays.
