Tonight, with my parents and brother, I am going to the rye bonfire. I'm leaving on the 1532 from Ashford International which today will be formed of 4 cars.

Usually, it is formed of 2 cars and the timetable shows that first class is declassified. For today only there will be 4 cars, but will first class still be declassified?

If the train is advertised as conveying Standard Class accommodation only, then you should be able to sit anywhere on the train irrespective of the coaching stock provided. If you have a specific concern about this service, you could try contacting Southern Customer Relations to clarify.

Normally I'd go with Yorkie's advice but with recent events at NXEA I thought I'd be doubly sure. I took a copy of the timetable with me.
