I'm not sure where to put this, but I suppose this will do as good as anywhere. I'm just wondering, if anyone else experiencing Difficulties getting Youtube videos to play on InternetExplorer? it just comes up as a black blank for me. It works all right if I switch to a different Browser, so it doesn't seem to be YouTube that the problem's with (for once). Is it something to do with my Cookies, do you think?

Did you try clearing your cookies? Alternatively, you can always try clearing your flash cookies link

Have you tried enabling the HTML5 trial to see if it's flash playing up?

*(edit: I cannot reproduce since I do not have IE installed)

I have no problems. It could well be the Flash player being out of date; there have been a lot of upgrades lately. I think it's currently on version 11.1

Well, a thing did come up the other day saying "an update to Flash player is available. Do you want to instal it?", so that may well be it. Well, as long as it works on firefox, I won't try anything too clever and maybe i can find another update or something that might fix it.

I would choose to use Firefox over Internet Explorer any day! Not the other way round.

yes, but the only trouble is, Gmail, which I need to use for one particular thing, doesn't work on firefox, due to something to do, once again, with cookies.
Life is complicated, isn't it.

I have no problem with my Gmail on Firefox, or any other email sites for that matter. You could always use Thunderbird/Outlook for Email.

Sounds like a Flash problem. Try upgrading or reinstalling it.

GMail works fine here on FF. What's the problem you're having?

Can you use GMail with Outlook/Thinderbird?

Thunderbird? Can't say i've heard of that before. You find out something new every day, don't you.

I expect it's probably to do with the New Version of Flash player. always lead to trouble, New Versions of anything, I find. Anyway, I'll have a look at my Cookies and see if it does anything.

Thunderbird is made by Mozilla, the people behind Firefox.

Gmail doesn't use flash so not sure what you meant by that.
