Okay I admit it I'm a sucker but I have just bought my contents insurance through Compare the Market or should that be Meerkat

I must say the whole process is very professional and slick and at the end you even get a little "show" featuring you.

There is a "Postkat" tracking service to see where your toy is.

Has anyone any experience of how long it takes for your toy to arrive - I'm hoping for Sergei.

One embarrassing footnote my cheapest provider turned out to be Saga

What do you do get the cheapest quote off a comparison site then take that to a broker or Direct Line/Aviva who are not represented.

There are quite a few insurers that are not represented on comparison sites. Takes awhile trawling t'internet but you can usually find cheaper.
My last renewal the cheapest I got on meerkat was £285. I finally managed to bring that down to £197.

I could tape him to the coupler like the dustbin men tie stuffed animals to the front of their trucks !!

never use comparism sites, they show the best results as the ones that give them the best commision, and falsely represent others. Ive always found car insurance is better done over the phone as you can provide over the phone other quotes youve got already and they magically knock 100s off there price to beat the quote youve told them about.
