spotted a class 66 with cross country stock and barrier coaches in barassie sidings on thursday approx 2.10pm anyone know where this was headed ?

There was a 5Z30 Kilmarnock to Edinburgh Craigentinny C.S. yesterday. It was booked to stand at Barrassie from 14:20 to 14:40.

This is probably what you saw.

Does anybody know why the XC stock needed to visit Wabtec at Kilmarnock?
