Just sat in my frontroom and heard what was almost definitely a 37 storming up the line about 5mins ago. I'm between Exeter Central and St. James on the waterloo line.

So anybody have any ideas as to what and why? Sounded light..

Thanks

It certainly was, they've been down at Exeter a few times this week, I saw them on Tuesday, today was the final day IIRC though.

Had the Class 97s with a Rail Treatment Train sat sulking in a siding in SHR last Sunday evening while I was waiting for my working back down to NWP. A glorious soundtrack, much better than the din coming from the cleaner's stereo in the Pumpkin Cafe the other night.

Dam shame about that, I only heard them last night not any other time in the week... So how do you find out about these workings in the first place? Freightmaster I assume, or 'who you know'?

Thanks,

Well I don't think they put this sort of working in Freightmaster, not regular enough I shouldn't think, knowing the right sort of person probably does help, personally I lucked into them on Tuesday.

PS: when I said they'd been through Exeter a few times this week, I think it was only the night you heard them that they went through Central, the others they were going through St. David's.

Ah right i see, got you. Always thought the subscription to freightmaster is quite high to be honest although i know it would have its uses.

Cheers,
