Virgin timetable

Hey, I've only really started to frequently use the world of Virgin trains (who knew my mate going to uni in Stafford would be so handy :P ) and I know the VHF timetable well, however I'd like to know abit about the pre-2008 timetable, so does anyone have some old copies they could link me to, or something along the lines of tph from Euston I'd be grateful! Thanks

From Euston:
2tph to Birmingham New St, 1 extended to Wolves
2tph to Manchester, both via Stoke
1tph to Liverpool
Not too sure on this, but about 8tpd to Chester, 4 extended to Holyhead, 1 extended to Llandudno
1tph to Preston, most extended to Carlisle, most from there to Glasgow

1tph Birmingham New St-Scotland

2004-8 is was 5tpd to North Wales (1xBangor, 1xLlandudno, 3xHolyhead) and none terminated at Chester.

Two of the Holyheads were Pendolinos (+57 west of Crewe), and the rest were Voyagers.

1tph Liverpool-London Euston, 1 extra peak diagram from Liverpool to Euston in the morning of week days (calling pattern, Runcorn, Stafford, Nuneaton, Milton Keynes Central or Watford Junction, the latter two alternated every hour).
2tph Manchester-London Euston, a few peak extras (calling pattern, Stockport, Macclesfield, Stoke), some went via Birmingham giving them and Manchester 3tph.
1tph Birmingham New Street-London Euston (calling pattern, Birmingham International, Coventry, Rugby, Milton Keynes Central or Watford Junction), same as Manchester, additional workings*
1tph Wolverhampton-London Euston via Birmingham to give them the 2nd train per hour (Calling pattern, Sandwell and Dudley, Birmingham New Street, Birmingham Intl, Coventry, Rugby and Watford Junction).
1tph Preston-London Euston, a few started from Lancaster (calling pattern, Wigan, Warrington, Crewe, Milton Keynes Central). Bank holiday reliefs included*.
1 every 2 hours Glasgow Central-London Euston (calling pattern Motherwell, Lockerbie, Carlisle, Penrith, Oxenholme, Lancaster, Preston, Wigan, Warrington and Crewe).
1 train a day Edinburgh-London Euston via Birmingham.
5 trains per day Holyhead-London Euston (calling pattern, usual shacks along the North Wales Coast, Chester, Crewe).
1 train per day Llandudno-London Euston (calling pattern, same as the above).

Not quite.
1tph to Manchester was non-stop at Macclesfield and alternated MKC / Watford Jn.
No EBW served Rugby, the Wolves called at MKC and the New St terminators at Watford Jn.
The Preston trains were hourly, most extended to Carlisle and most further from there to Glasgow, about 3 terminated at Carlisle, the rest went through to Glasgow, but Motherwell was served by about half and Lockerbie about 4 times each way.

EDIT - Preston and beyond trains served Rugby hourly and MKC / Watford Jn alternately.

This was, however, a VXC service and usually extended to either Plymouth or Bournemouth.

Not that it's directly relevant, but the VXC standard hour pattern in 2007 was as follows:

1tph Scotland*–Plymouth (some extensions to Penzance), alternately via the WCML and ECML
1tph Scotland*–Bournemouth, alternately via the WCML and ECML
1tph Newcastle–Bristol (some extensions to Paignton)
1tph Manchester–Reading (some extensions to Brighton)
1tph Manchester–Brimingham (some start back from Scotland* via the WCML)

*the Scottish origin could be any of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee or Aberdeen, the pattern was rather irregular.

Wow! I wish I knew about this before. I've just done a search for FGE - not a typo - timetables from years gone by!
