Has anyone told Gary Lineker how ridiculous that "goatee" he has adorned to his person looks ?

A pathetic attempt - looks like his "cat has broken down"

While were on the subject Mark Lawrensons growth whilst being more substantial has transformed his appearance into that of "a right dork"

Hansen and Shearer have so far remained unaffected thank god

I really hope these are Movember stunts...

Shearer is actually the only one who'd look good with a moustache - Lawrenson's beard is dreadful. Annie Eaves from the Mirror said it looked like he'd covered his face in treacle and kissed the Dulux puppy.

Why? It's not as if the appearance of any of these is anything to write home about? Why shouldn't they look as they please? If it detracts from what they are saying - surely no great loss - that is surely the watcher's problem

I've got nothing against beards but neither of them fall into the "David Bellamy" category - possibily not a good analagy
