Just to let you know, the NR Measurement Train, top & tailed by DRS 37's, has just been to Plymouth today (10:00am), just gone past again (10:15am) heading Exeter bound.

Whats wrong with Sainsburys or shouldnt I ask?? At least the sign has practically dissapeared into the bushes!!

As you asked somewhere else I sign, Exeter to Penzance plus Falmouth, Newquay, Looe and Gunnislake. Nowhere interesting, signed Paignton until apx 2 years ago......

Aye the HST NMT (i.e. 43's top/tail) was messing around Derby and Leicester on the afternoon of the 9th. 43013 was included, forget the other one.

Oo an ex Paignton guard ;)

And i know how fond you are of those TPE 158s!

The TPE class 158s are a crock of crap and just as bad as the original Wessex rubbuuuuush we had down here in the first place. How people can find them 'hellfire' and be sad enough to go bashing them is beyond me. In my opinion these people need to get a life and find something better to do....

As for Paignton, when it was dropped from our depots route knowledge we had a massive party, Newton Abbot, Torquay, Paignton was the worst route I've ever worked, full of Chavs, Druggies, Alcoholics and general scum with no ,money....

I'll have you know i am one of the few who does not fit into any of those categories :p

I live on the posh side of Paignton ;)

I have to agree though. The station is a $h*thole!

Well, It's not as bad as Nat makes out, Foxhole and Hele, the two council estates are where it all goes down-hill!
