Didn't have much of a view on RPDR before I watched the UK version with my other half - safe to say I'm a convert now!

Gotta compliment on your profile picture, soldier. Didn't know there were people like me who liked trains and tf2 both.
Many thanks for your resent post on the 158 /159 situation.

Do any 159's have new SWR First class seating or has this not been rolled-out yet?

AFAIK the full-scale interior refurbishment has yet to commence - all that's happened so far is a change in decorative upholstery (that is to say, carpets and moquette) as part and parcel of the C6 work at Brush.
The BIG refurbishment, however, is due to commence next year - this is when new seats, plug sockets etc. go in.

    Makes sense now!
Hi, Newbury lifts not working, source of considerable local amusement. A paper file has appeared in the caged off bit at top of lift area on P1. So maybe soon ..
    RE: MML Electrification
Just to say I had a look around the village (Wymington) today - no real progress to report.

Ahh thanks very much WymoWanderer - I tend to do MML updates every fortnight so will wait with bated breath for any progress around there before Monday next

One of the road bridges are closed in the village next week for railway works. I'll have a look on Monday or Tuesday for any progress.

    Cheers.
Just a little note to say thanks for your regular MML electrification updates.

Thanks very much WymoWanderer! I don't know the line very well myself, but I'm happy to help in any way I can :)
I may only be 23, but learning that Peep Show turns 15 years old today makes me feel ancient.
Thrilled to annonce that I'm graduating from Birmingham uni with a 2:1 in Civil & Railway Engineering!
Final exam in full-time education this morning. "Bizarre" barely describes how I'm feeling right now...
Never been prouder to be a Scotland supporter. What a game the 2018 Calcutta Cup was.

I'm English but I never thought I'd end up supporting Scotland! Jones, Hogg, Watson, Gray, Russell, Maitland...there are some world-class Scottish players right now.
There's nothing on earth that can make you as tearfully proud of Scots heritage as hearing "Flower of Scotland" on the pipes at Murrayfield.

Yeah...I don't know what happened at Twickenham though...the band were spot on for GSTQ but awfully out of sync and tune for Land of My Fathers...

Definite sense of "home bias" for each match - I suspect the same may have happened for La Marseillaise at Murrayfield.

Perhaps. As an Englishman I believe that we have the world's worst anthem however. It's a grim dirge compared to the likes of FoS and LM!
Nice map. May I suggest improvements for the legend.

Change the background colour to white - the reason is the colours look different with a green background compared to those on the map. My eyes are er mature !. - (old).

Minor but put the legend in order of progress, so "Piling taking place" would be at the bottom below "Masts going up".

Very illuminating btw - thanks for taking the trouble to inform us.
