I don't think there are any immediate plans currently for any of the branch boxes. Doesn't mean that the boxes are any more or less at risk of closing than any other box around the country. Transfering of signalling takes a lot of work and isn't something that just happens overnight.

Yes, 2 out of every 4 Sundays rostered, 1 night, 1 day.

12s on a 4 position roster.

Definitely think the day and night links would work well. I'll sign up for permanent 12 hour day shift, cant stand nights.
