Hi 9K43. I can sympothise with you there! I did 42 years and detested privatisation from day one. I couldn't stand the young people getting into high positions who knew next to nothing and simply dicated to everyone. Today you are only as good as your were yesterday. This text editor is very restrictive and I have had to prune this considerably. I couldn't believe how much I wanted to get out and have not missed the railway, except for the companionship and getting out and about the railway.
We had our annual Retired Driver's gathering yaterday at the Staff club. They came from quite far and wide and had a great day. The oldest lads are now in their 90's, would you believe.
