It's a capacity issue in that electric traction can't use lines 1 and 2. Network Rail plan to work on this overnight tonight - should this work go well, a full service will resume tomorrow.

That one I can't answer, sorry. My application was last year, but as I'm internal been told not to apply again as my previous application still counts.
Paddington, Reading and Oxford - the internal vacancy does still refer to a talent pool though, so it's no guarantee of progress. But I guess it's still a positive sign of some form of progress being made.
