    Cheers Eastwestdivide, just out of curiosity were you at York at the Western Finale tour on 12th Feb 1977 and have a log for that day or even be on its route and seen anything that might of been heading for York on that day. I don't have any logs from that day anymore, lost many moons ago...

    Correct, eastwestdivide . I will edit that now. Thanks for pointing that out. Can I add another question was E50163 or SC50163 in 1977. In the 1981 Motive power combined volume for 1981 Ian Allen, that has it as SC50163.
