How did you get on? I didn't apply for the trainee train driver but for something else you seem to be the only one on here who has had some progress.

I’ve applied for a conductor position through the DB website and was offered to sit an online assessment which I have completed but I never got an email to say if passed or failed or even just test completed. I know with northern they used to send one email inviting to take the second test then...

Did you apply for the role in the end? I’ve applied, and had my online test last week but strangely have not even had a confirmation to say I have completed them, even though last time I did an online test with northern I got an email straight away to say I had passed.

Got my email couple hours ago to say under consideration with hiring manager and now when I have just checked again it’s gone back to test completed! So god knows what’s happening, I also had another application today gone to application withdrawn whilst sat at under consideration

Yeah it was for midge hall if I remember correctly. Ive come to the conclusion its probably just a mistake since its changed back to under consideration for assessment 2 and it was because they was updating the career website at the time. Would be nice if I was still in with a shout though!

Sorry to jump on you post but how long did it take to hear back after your online tests regarding an interview?? From what I’ve read I believe the assessment for northern is an hour interview followed by a group exercise I did read a couple people just had the interview but had a task to do for...

Yeah that’s the one I had to do, then the email stated if I passed that I would then get another test which would follow shortly after but it hasn’t yet. I thought it might have been because it’s the weekend but you seem to have done it so it must be curtains for me then haha

I did the first online test this morning straight after my application but I never got another one after I’m an external candidate so I gather that means I never passed the first online test??
