    It can take a long time for things to get going and sometimes months from being offered a job to the start date of training. I've heard some say up to a year on occasion. Mine was six months from assessment. So as I say hopefully may not turn out to be an issue for you in the end. Good luck!

    Sorry to read that magicmcone they do seem to be sincere in what they say though. That's good to know WombleGuard. As you know I'm starting on 14th and was hoping there would be some sort of program in place. I finish with my current employer on Thursday but have been on furlough.

    Anyone have any update re SWR? I have a start date 14 April signed contract etc just not heard anything and no one answered when I rang earlier. I appreciate they will have their own concerns at the moment.

    Theres a convenience store and Costa and starbucks opposite. I think we had about 30 mins for lunch. Got out just after 4 so was a long day. There is water and a drinks machine on free vend. May see you in Fratton then!
