Partick or Clydebank for 2/3. Isn't there a rest facility at X4 terminus now? Either that or staff shuttles in cars/vans to relief points.

The remote relief points is another minus for First. Ten mins, unpaid walk, to potentially wait in the cold or wet weather for a late running Bus. The X4 is the worst of all. I used to do it, and at my current Company I don't. It's all these things they'll have to look at it if they want to...

MER & IMR aren't 'uk Heritage Railways' though.

    Bendy buses

Perhaps First could order a large batch and split them between Aberdeen & Glasgow, for use on their 1/1A/1B?

    McGill's Buses - Renfrewshire & Inverclyde

The 17 was every 20 mins. Together with the 7 they provided a 10 Min Frequency Glasgow-Ferguslie Park. They did serve Byres Road.

    Stagecoach Repaint Updates

If the Front was simply all Blue, with underneath the Windscreen Orange it'd look a hell of a lot better. The Orange depending on the Model. On an ALX it would simply be the part that was Black when new.

    Bus Manufacturer News & Discussion

Not forgetting the best of them all, the eCitaro. Price is all that will stop this being the most sold zero emissions option. But as with the Diesel Citaro, you get what you pay for.

Yeah, it's a good start. Despite union claims though, I can't help feel it's a 'needs must' situation, and should the shortage be covered it will be removed. It's also not really the fault of First Bus that they cannot offer better pay and conditions. The economics of UK Bus Operations has...

Yes, so the longer the shift, the less attractive that becomes for me personally. If overtime was a 5hr 30min shift, with no break, that'd be £87.20. It's not bad, but not great either. For a top rate driver, it would be about £103, so would possibly be more attractive to them. But for a 12 Hour...

Not much is it though; £30 over a potentially 12/13 Hour day, which will be taxed still? In my opinion, it doesn't give a great incentive for overtime.

Unless this funding is to give bus driving staff similar pay and conditions to those enjoyed by the publicly subsidised railway staff, then the same problems will persist - i.e., an inability to retain staff due to unattractive working patterns and pay.

If there are problems (I'm not aware, I don't really use it) they probably won't be apparent today. No Sunday Services were altered, so Timetables should all be correct on the app today.

    Double deckers in other countries?

Would ADL (Plaxton) not too, if they could get any orders? There are Enviro 500MMCs that meet US Regs.

Trivia: Largest town/city without a major bus depot

That just makes it densely (possibly over) populated.
