  • Hi Scousey, we did a group thing where we were the board of a hospital, needing to make £450,000 of cuts to the budget. We had 10 mins to decide which dept's budgets to cut (from a list of 7), then we had to do it again as a group.
The best advice is, don't be overbearing, be prepared to listen, concede to the group decision if its overwhelming. DO be clear in getting your point over though, definitely don't shrink!. DON'T be overbearing & try to take over, as the one that did that in our group wasn't selected for interview, one other chap argued a point a bit too strongly too - same outcome.
Thanks for pm'ing me about this too, it's not something I'd post on the general forum, I'm sure that XC and other TOC's monitor these forums, and as I'm currently 'on hold', I do want to keep my nose clean should another opportunity arise.
Good luck, the team at Leeds were top class, making you feel at ease from the off, hope you get to interview and do a bit better there than I did!
    Andy
Hey mate thanks for the advice re: the CrossCountry Interview. Just a quick bit of advice about the group discussion, what is the best way to 'be' in the discussion? I don't want to be too overbearing nor too quiet! Cheers
