If EWR can justify dedicated tracks from Bedford north, two extra tracks and an east-north curve at Bletchley to Milton Keynes Central makes sense too. Also redoubling Cambridge to Newmarket.

Given how much of HS2 is being built in tunnel to keep Nimbys in their box. Perhaps a similar solution could be applied to the Digswell viaduct bottleneck by constructing tunnels for the fast lines from south of Stevenage, under the Mimram valley and Welwyn, before re-joining the current...
I think the increase in travellers when the hourly service was introduced show that increased frequency encourages increased use.
I am not sure about Chippenham and Haughley paths, but there as been talk of reducing headways and of course doubling Haughley Junction, maybe even a Hitchin style...

007 on the 14:00 LST to Norwich had brake problems approaching Manningtree, driver rebooted and got it moving again 20minutes late. I'm inclined to blame Geoff Marshall who appeared between LST and Colchester doing one of his review vloggs
I suspect the lack of changes at Sudbury, reflects the importance of the branch to the management.
