There is also a Central of New Jersey nose and I'm sure I've seen an old unrepainted BNSF unit receive it's old BN nose logo.
Anyone else notice that 70012 has no buckeye and that the B-40 has buffers and hook to act as a converter.
I would of thought fitting a drophead buckeye to the 70 would be easier unless there is a height difference to the US locos.
The Riverside Museum (Glasgow Transport Museum) has an extensive collection of builders models.
If anything your looking for was built on the Clyde then they would be a good place to look.
The models there are built to a very high standard.
Ailsa Craig had 2 different railways on it.
One for coal and supplies to the gasworks and lighthouse and another for quarried stone.
It was 3ft gauge and was cable and horse hauled.
It has a junction and a siding also.
A lot of it survives today.

I went in to Ayr for a look this morning.
From what I could see through the gaps in the sheets doesn't look good.
It looks like there has been internal collapses in a few locations.
You can see straight through to the windows on the other side and daylight lighting up some areas floors down from...
I'd say the train easily beats the car time wise.
I used to get stopped at the level crossing at Gatehead regularly on the way home from work and then I'd see the sprinter again around Prestwick Airport.

The 156s will be fine, the stabbling point is south of the station.

I know fire crews were there yesterday but we had a load of very heavy rain last night and again today.
With a building that big I wouldn't be surprised if it's still smouldering somewhere.
Although they could use one of the platforms at Newton on Ayr as the neutral section is under the bridge, I don't know if the North end of Falkland Yards cross over is electrified.
