There was a few drivers I knew at Ilford who would happily do Romfords all day every day; full train drivers money with only a short branch line with 1 signal....
I suggest people email them here [email protected] and set them straight, It might not get anywhere but this sort of outrageous "journalism" deserves to be pointed out
Because TFL seem to not see/care whats going on anywhere else. Yesterday at least there was no LOROL service between Liv St and 7 Sisters/ Walthamstow Central. They were advertising to get an AGA train to Hackney Downs and then a bus. Only trouble is all AGA West Anglia services were diverted...
Hi guys, I've got a quick question about fares/travel cards for london. My other half's family is coming to visit at the weekend and we want to go into London for the day this sunday (I've planned a lovely sightseeing trip!) Anyhow, we want to travel from Chelmsford and I think a zones 1-4...
You are in the driving grade, yes, sort of but not really. Without wishing to bring up the argument around this again, if you are thinking of potentially applying for trainee driver positions outside the company whilst you are a depot driver, being a depot driver has absolutely no sway to it...
Is there any sharing of units going on? I've seen a few aga branded 317's still in the bay at Cheshunt, and even one of the freshly repainted aga 317/5's in the bay! Anyone know what's going on?
Why are they not the same as the new ones on 317's? Seems an odd choice of colours really considering the corporate colours of Abellio. anything is surely an imporvement in the tatty ones at present
This is getting absurd now. I use AGA trains every day all day for my job and I don't have "flea bites". All the pictures of seat cushions all over the place is because passengers throw them about. The staff don't go through the trains chucking litter everywhere, the passengers do. Passengers...
Hi all, my question is to do with train washer plants. I've seen on the continent they have some pretty amazing washers which have moving brushes for cleaning the front, sides and even the tops of trains (even with a pan). Are there any like this in the UK? The only ones I've seen are stationary...
Is Trinity Marsh Lane one? On the WAML near Cheshunt, its manned thats for sure, and I think if vehicle access is needed then the man opens the gates. Whether they go across the track I don't know, never seen it.
I reckon LOROL will just slap some vinyl on the side like before with the silverlink stuff.
edit= I'm going to Ilford on Monday, I'll see what I can find out!
Could be the protective wrapping they apply when painting? It is totally bizarre otherwise repainting it but either leaving the doors blue or painting them a different blue.
Yeah they are for Cambridge and Stortford, you only spend a few months at Stratford and you'll obviously travel free on the trains so anywhere along the west route is fine to live I'd say.
