I guess the obvious question is what profile the TFW 230s have, and are they seeing a similar wear pattern on standard track? Is anyone aware if these are also P8 or another profile?

It was Network Rail who mandated CET for all stock, and thus they paid for fitment to all the heritage stock. The ORR mandated CDL (see many, many threads) but as they are not the owner/operator of the tracks, they are not liable for the costs.
