I understand that the problem at Sway disrupted travel beyond Southampton, and I 'm pleased to hear Mr and Mrs Wychwood were provided with a bus, but why on earth was there no service between Southampton and Waterloo that evening?

Utter chaos at Southampton Airport at lunchtime, and still the same at 2200 tonight. No trains, no information, PIS showing a mixture of lies and nonsense and automated announcements ditto.

I don't understand why More are planning a route 1 from Bmth to Christchurch. Wouldn't it be more economical just to extend their existing m2? Is there some reason why their new routes have to be separate?

At most stations, platform 1 is the up side. Nothing to do with entrances.

1804 Birmingham to Bournemouth last Thursday was 5 cars and packed like sardines as far as Coventry. All seats full until Reading.

Yes, I have never understood why the mobile coverage is so bad in England. I have been in the middle of nowhere in Albania and had a top notch signal. Why can't our operators provide it on a main line railway?

Perhaps the enormously long down platform at Bournemouth, and the clear provision for non-stop fast lines at Pokesdown.

For a day trip, split at Basingstoke and Banbury, and get day returns.

Or even buy a proper paper ticket!
