Who would you like to share a train journey with?

Oh dear, get a life. Kylie anywhere on the train but preferably in sleeper.

    Shrinkflation - examples?

Tesco are lauding their "new" range of "new recipe" ready meals. What they fail to mention is that they have reduced the weight from 450 grams to 400 grams with no reduction in price. What an unexpected surprise!

    Annoying television adverts...

I think all adverts are annoying apart from the Hartleys jelly pot ones. They're brilliant.

Ken Bruce Quits BBC Radio 2

Kay is not a proper DJ. I cannot stand his boring monotone droning, which does nothing to make the quiz (?) worth listening to. Gary Davies is a proper DJ and should have got the job, not some monosyllabic Z list "celebrity".

Petrol and diesel prices - how much have you been paying?

Tesco Carmarthen 139.9. unleaded 136.9 diesel.

    Football

I used to enjoy football, but not since var. It is obvious to me that football commentators and pundits have been told to support this ruination by the powers that be. It would not surprise me if it was a condition of the broadcasting contract that employees of those companies were mandated to...

    Favourite EV buses?

I've just done a trip on the new TFW electric buses between Pencader and Lampeter. Despite the plush seats, the ride is very harsh and is accompanied by a myriad of rattles. The ride, therefore, is no better than the previous diesel buses. Very disappointing.

    Surveys and reviews

I've just bought something from Sava and having completed my purchase was asked to touch a red green or amber light on the payment screen to indicate my level of satisfaction with the service provided. Home bargains have a red and green button by the exit, depending on whether or not they have...

Has anyone ever won the £100 prize. They are everywhere, Tesco, Lidl, Wilkinson and many more.

    Surveys and reviews

Anybody else sick of the interminable requests for feedback. In the past month I've been asked for feedback from; A vet visit. A phone call to Welsh Water. My contact lenses. Turmeric tablets. Everything I buy on eBay including those that I have returned because they are useless. How did my...

Closed lines walked or former railway sites / stations visited

11 years ago I walked north on the track of the former Waverley Line to Riccarton Junction, what a strange atmospheric place. Once a railway town with about 150 inhabitants, it now completely deserted apart from, then, the school masters old house.

Shops selling at prices ending in 99p

About time they banned the ridiculous point 9 on fuel station prices, far worse than the 99 pence

Ken Bruce Quits BBC Radio 2

Only listen to R2 for pop master which I enjoy and will listen to on GHR. At all other times, I will continue to listen to Absolute. I pay £3.99 a month for 19 stations, no adverts, and on certain premium stations no presenters just proper music. No Little Micks, Will Young or similar dross...

Closed lines you have travelled on.

With my dog, I regularly walk Llanerchayron (original spelling) to Aberaeron, 3 miles north of Tregaron to Aberystwyth, Pencader tunnel to Cynwyl Elfed (2 parts either side of Llanpumsaint), Cardigan to Cilgerran and Carmarthen old station to Gwilli junction. I have also walked Haltwhistle to...
